ATLANTA ATTORNEY WHO HELPED BRING DOWN THE BMF EMPIRE, CAUGHT W/ DRUGS & GUNS

Atlanta News, Weather, Traffic, and Sports | FOX 5 The investigation into a prominent Atlanta attorney arrested on drug charges began with an ad on Craigslist, FOX 5 has learned. Rand Csehy was one of the Fulton County prosecutors who helped bring the Black Mafia Family to prison. Now in private practice, Rand Csehy was charged with several drug counts on Thursday.

Attorney Jay Abt once worked a case with Csehy. "He had a reputation as a very aggressive, very effective prosecutor…The whole situation is very sad, it's very unfortunate and it does definitely leave a blemish on the community of criminal defense lawyers," said Abt. According to a Fulton County warrant, the attorney's problems started when APD's narcotics unit started working a detail targeting people who utilize Craigslist to trade narcotics for sex.
